Technical Mortgage Expert

Remote or Hybrid

£30,000 – £32,000 + Quarterly Bonus

We’re looking for an experienced and technically-minded Mortgage Expert to join our growing Member Support team. This is a key role supporting our Academy members—especially those just starting out in their mortgage careers—through expert coaching, case placement advice, and technical training. If you’re passionate about mortgages, love helping others grow in their careers, and want to be part of a supportive, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

One-to-one coaching for Academy members, particularly on their first cases.
Supporting training academies and delivering content in specialist areas.
Responding to technical queries via Google Chat, LinkedIn groups, and other channels.
Assisting with the creation of mortgage product content for our Learning Management System (LMS).
Keeping your lender criteria knowledge sharp and up-to-date.
Delivering tailored 1-1 training for Academy Boost members.
Supporting the wider network by handling phone and email queries as part of the Member Support team.

Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:

Strong technical mortgage knowledge and hands-on experience in advisory or support roles.
Excellent communication and coaching skills.
Ability to problem-solve and guide newer brokers with confidence.
Proactive and comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid setting

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience training or mentoring newly qualified advisers.
Familiarity with digital learning platforms or course content creation.
CeMAP qualified (or equivalent).
