“..I started in Mortgages and Financial Services at 19, working for Prudential. In 1998 I jumped into self-employment and set up Connect IFA, which later became Connect IFA Ltd in 2006. The original office was based inside a letting agent in Hornchurch, Essex. So although the company arranged all types of mortgages, starting inside the letting agents was the foundation for the company to become a specialist in finance for property investment.
We are still based in Hornchurch and have grown to a team of over 70 staff providing mortgages and finance to all types of property purchasers while still maintaining our specialist knowledge in the complex BTL and commercial markets.
The trading style ‘Connect Mortgages‘ is the part of our company which provides a range of mortgage and insurance services for the consumer.
The trading style ‘Connect for Intermediaries‘ is our Mortgage Network which provides the FCA regulation, compliance, administration and research support for over 300 Appointed Representatives who provide advice in all areas of the mortgage market, with the USP of allowing its advisers also to provide advice on specialist products.
We also provide placement and packaging services to other mortgage advisers keen to benefit from our enhanced knowledge in these specialist lending areas..”
